Children will wait in excited anticipation for their new "pets"! Simply place the egg in cool water and wait 48-72 hours for it to hatch. The egg will begin to crack, and the animal will break out of its shell and "grow." Egg is approximately the same size as a chicken egg, about 2.5" tall. ~ Megan
